And away she goes!

Claire got a new-old bicycle yesterday from a neighbor-friend. We took it out for a spin this morning and she went around the entire block all by herself!!! These are posed pictures in the alley for her victory lap since I did not have my camera handy.

Easter Egg Hunt

It was a cold spring morning for the annual Easter Egg Hunt put on by our neighborhood association. The kids had fun collecting the eggs and then discovering the candy inside. Asher and Avery were in heaven! Uncle Casey and Chika (our dutiful photographer) joined us for this fun event, which was over rather quickly. Nonetheless, energy was spent and 2/3 of my children are still sleeping. : )

Bluebonnets!

We have bluebonnets! Claire and Avery were hams for the camera, but poor Ash just wasn't feeling well.

Train Table for ELC!

But, boy, do I wish it was for us!!! I guess it still could be considering it is going up for bid at the Live Auction next week @ Claire's school.... Hmmm...

Scott put the thing together with directions from ehow.com. I painted, felted, and decorated. Each of C's classmates painted a little wooden train which I attached to the table and painted on tracks.

Welcome to the Dallas Zoo!

We made a trip to the Dallas Zoo after church this morning despite the cold and mist. It was neat to get out and feed the giraffes-- and!!! Miss Claire actually fed the giraffes!!! Usually she lets her brothers do it, but today she held out her lettuce all by herself. The funny thing is that Avery would not give up his lettuce! He held onto it (as pictured) and ended up eating it!!! That was the most expensive lettuce that child has ever tasted!

Discovery Science Museum

We ventured out to the Science Museum in Fair Park this wknd. Claire had such a blast and kept saying how fun every thing was. We tried it w/o a stroller, and the twins did well. The big bubbles were a hit as well as the dinosaurs. Neat!

Spring Day @ Arboretum

We had a beautiful morning at the arboretum after church-- a little chilly, but the flowers in bloom were worth it! Avery enjoyed swattting at the tulips and trying to pick the daffodils. Ash and Claire were running and going everywhere. We did corral them in every now and then for some pictures...

So much for getting a good pic of Scott and the kiddos...
