After church, we had a quick and easy lunch at the Arboretum. We timed it right and caught some beautiful blooms-- cherry blossoms, tulips, and azaelas.

Panda Bear, Panda Bear what do you see?
A spring break trip to the Arboretum! Wow! It was gray and overcast, but still made for some great photos, esp with our friends, the Merkins... what a great combo... the Merk-isons...
Avery got his face painted for the first time! Originally he wanted to be a tiger, but then he saw the panda bear and changed his mind. Asher is still not interested in adding extras to his appearance. Claire went with her ol' stand by, the purple tiger, which last an hour until she wanted to wipe it off. :)

Start of Spring Break!
We're staying here for Spring Break and enjoying some activities on the homefront with friends. This morning started off with "Water Beads" exploration-- pretty cool things!

Trip to Aquarium
What a fun morning we had at the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park! The sting ray tank was a huge hit as were all the sharks! Ashie (post-pneumonia) really enjoyed his new buddy through the glass. None of the kidlets would feed the sting rays directly or feel the animals in the touch-tank. .. Next time perhaps!

Spring is here!
What a beautiful morning! We went to an early church service (the twins did great in their "Sunday School"), enjoyed a gorgeous morning at the Arboretum, followed by lunch @ Arby's-- my preggo craving cave-in! I'm officially calling it a great day!
