1st Day

Wow! What a difference a year makes. I mean, last year, new school, new house, daily commute, new friends and this year! Wow! We are pros! Kids walked right into their classes and sat down. Sensed a little bit of hesitation from Claire. Asher held my hand till we were halfway to his class. And Avery happily greeted his teacher!

 

Back in the swing of things!

Come Monday, summer will be a memory. Gearing up for a great year with Claire in 2nd grade, Asher and Avery in 1st!

Dinner in Valentine, Nebraska! Over 600 miles driven. Great bird life-- turkeys, scissor tail flycatchers, red shoulder hawks.

Party x2!

Wow! What a party! Asher and Avery invited 6 of their friends over to help celebrate their birthdays. We had pool time fun enjoyed some Angry Birds/Star Wars cupcakes and a hot dog/mac n cheese lunch. Mima was here for their fun day too!

Birthday boys!

Started off the big celebratory day at 5:20am! So excited to be 6!!! Presents, donuts, VBS, lunch with Daddy, trampoline park, and cake!

Nice quiet holiday in our house with the little guys. Jude was not a fan of fireworks, but these kids were!
