Dad

Asher and Avery are "7"!

I'm going to do a few back posts to try and catch up with all of the events that have happened-- it has been a wonderfully busy month!

Asher and Avery turned 7 in Grand Teton National Park, but we celebrated this terrific event early with their friends in Dallas. In Morrison tradition, we decorated their door, dined on donuts, and opened presents. They had a pool party with 12 of their friends in the backyard full of games, pizza, cake, and swimming.

Jude turns 4!

This little guy was so excited to turn four years old! We started off his special day with donuts and presents. He was a good sport at Asher and Avery's last baseball game of the season. In the afternoon we went to see The Secret Life of Pets, followed by dinner out, a few party games, and cake.

GWB Library

Ventured down to SMU campus which houses the George W. Bush Presidential Library with the big kids, Gran and Aunt T. The kids got to sit in the replica of the oval office and visited a special exhibit on the history of voting.

Happy Belated Birthday, Aunt T!

It's hard to get together on the actual day for birthdays, we make the most of the time we do have together and celebrate when we can. Happy birthday, Aunt T! We love you!

The Boys of Summer

Baseball season is in full swing with games and practices-- as long as the rain stays away. Asher and Avery are both excelling at the sport. They love batting and get a hit off coach-pitch nearly every time.

First day of summer

With cooler temps, we packed the rods and went fishing at Twin Lakes. Unfortunately, the kids came up empty handed at the first spot...

But they were successful at the next location!
