Try again...

We gave the bluebonnets another try on Sunday, and here are the results! Enjoy! It was a beautiful day, so we ran out after 3 wonderful naps.

9 Months Old and Counting!

The twins are 9 months old today! Wow! They are playing so much more with each other and with toys. Asher is in LOVE with the walker-- he has access to everything. The dog bowls, the fridge, Avery... Avery can still jump away the day in his jumper. Both are happy little guys (now that we are over our colds...) Ash weighed 20 lbs. 2 oz, and Ave came in at 18 lbs., 6 oz. Both were 30" tall.

Bluebonnets

The bluebonnets are kinda in bloom-- we jumped the gun perhaps and headed out to get some pictures of the kiddos. A harder task than we imagined... Avery and Claire did not want to sit in the flowers and Asher kept trying to eat them.

Face painting...

Who would've thought Claire would've liked to have her face painted?? To sit still, have paint put on, ha! But true to form, our little girl wanted nothing to do with the girlie colors the artist suggested-- no pinks, purples, or reds-- she wanted to be a blue tiger. : )

The Dallas Zoo

We headed to the Dallas Zoo on Tuesday. We had the place to ourselves, which was very nice considering the day before we had been turned away from the Arboretum b/c it was so full. We got to see some animals up close-- Patrick, the gorilla; Ramona and Baby Kona, the chimps-- and the kids got to explore and play. Claire is doing her best to keep up with her older cousins and the twins are so happt to have more hands around to hold them.

The Cousins Meet!

Tradd and Julian came out to Dallas for a spring visit with Aunt T and Gran. This was T & J's first time meeting the twins and seeing Claire in over a year. We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather and hit the Arboretum. Photographing 5 young children is another story... : )
