It's Girl Scout cookie time!

Scouting is in her blood! Claire has become a Daisy Girl Scout, and in tradition, she is selling Girl Scout cookies! So far, she has sold 21 boxes on her own.

We know that it might be hard for far away family to purchase cookies from Claire, but we wanted to share with you an opportunity to participate in Claire's Girl Scout cookie sale.

Through the Troop to Troop cookie program, you can buy packages of Girl Scout Cookies to donate to US servicemen and servicewomen at home and abroad.

Here is the link: https://www.gsnetx.org/phpforms/_secure/tct2014/troop2troop.php

In order for Claire to be recognized for your donation, in the section where it says

Select Girl Scout Troop and select Claire's troop number, 6673, from the drop-down menu.

Then enter her name in the field that says Girl Scout Name.

Thanks!

What do you do when it's 21 degrees?

Poody's Ears

Tomorrow morning, Jude will have two "tubes" put into his ear drums. This has been quite the learning opportunity for me since none of the big kids ever had ear infections or constant fluid in the ears. He had his pre-op appointment this morning and is good to go. We check into the hospital at 6:30am and surgery starts at 7:45am. He is first on the docket and should be finished at 8:00. An hour in recovery and we should be home by 10am.

Dr. Carder (same dude who did Claire's surgery) is a really good and experienced dr, so we feel confident that everything will be perfect. He showed me the tubes he uses (just like the ones pictured above, only white) and said they stay in on average 11.2 months. There's a 20% chance he could need a second pair, but hopefully this will buy us enough time till his little eustachian tubes grow.

Here's to clear ears and a burst in vocabulary!

My little gymnasts...

The twins also started gymnastics this month and have had a great time. There is another little boy in their class, (ironically, he attends our church too!), and their teachers keep them busy and active. So far their favorite thing is the foam pit into which they leap after bouncing down the runway. Asher is a bit more cautious on the beam than Avery, but both bounce like rubber balls on the trampoline.

It is finished.

Park time!

It was great to get outside and meet friends at the park for a second day in a row. Jude is obsessed with sliding while Claire and Avery enjoyed spinning themselves silly. Asher liked his spiky hair and climbing around with friends.

Poor Winnie...

Gorgeous day to go for a run. Twins on their scooters. Jude in the stroller. Stopped at the park to play for a bit. Asher took a bad fall on the slide and busted open the inside of his cheek. Blood. Gushing. Everywhere. Big gaping hole in his cheek. Had to finish our run home and head to the ER where he luckily did not need stitches. (The mouth heals quickly on the inside and is very moist. ) Sooo... Winnie took a long nap, on some antibiotics, and has a swollen sore mouth. Smoothies for dinner!

New indoor playplace!

This place was neat! Webbed structures of multiple levels. Activities in each area. Separate area for the babies. This place was fun for all!

A boy and his dog(s)

And yes, he is petting Carly.
