Asher and Avery are 3!

It's official-- the twosies are done with the twos! :)  We tucked in our big boys tonight after a fun-filled day! Lots of fun and festivities. The big kids went to the Nature and Science Museum this morning with Uncle Casey, Bopa, Mima, and Daddy-o. They caught an Imax film on whales. After naps, we played in the backyard and grilled brats and chicken. Yum!  Finally, it was time for birthday cake, something Avery had been waiting for all day. Presents were delivered throughout the day and they really liked opening and playing with each one.

Moments like these...

I cherish and need to remind myself of when chaos reigns supreme... There will come a time when my littlest guy won't want to cuddle, and I will have to look back at this post and remind myself of moments like these...

The twins had their first trip to CEC this afternoon for some successful steps in potty-training! It was great to be indoors and have so many opportunities to sit and rest. (4 days until Lil Critter arrives!) Asher was wide-eyed the entire time and Avery wanted to go go go! C of course was in charge. ;)

They've been in their new big-boy room for over a month, and I am just now getting around to getting it completely completed and all tidy for pictures. :)  The A-team adjusted well to their big boy beds-- this time around and it is such a delight to hear them singing and chatting on the monitors about everything. They are in a phase right now where they take these "tubs of toys" into their beds-- the things they put in them! All the furniture is secured to the wall and the boys are learning where their clothes and shoes are kept. To think they are almost 3 years old... wow...
