Gosh, there is nothing but love between these two! They adore one another-- constant and unprovoked. Claire walks into the room and Jude just lights up. Claire loves playing with this little guy and will forgo a tv show or bath with the twins just to spend more time with him. Since the beginning my bookends have been connected with such a bond.

Fun morning with Mima!

Another fun morning at the Perot Museum! We took Mima on her last morning here. The weather was cold and gray, but we had a blast inside. The kids built their birds on the computer, enjoyed an animated talk on the solar system from a museum guide, and enjoyed the magnets.

What do you do on a cold, rainy morning?

Well, get rid of some energy at Pump It Up! We had a fun 90-minute-non-stop-full-action-energy-depleting workout! Mima and I got to do some of the slides-- huff, puff, huff, puff! Baby J enjoyed the show, and the boys quickly and quietly went down for naps! Yay!

A volcano a day keeps the boredom away!

Great way to get rid of old playdoh (and if you jump on it, even better!) and keep the kids anticipating and interested. Adding dish soap increased the frothiness-- go figure! Add a little food coloring in the the cone and voila-- novelty at its best!

Right in our own front yard...

Plans for the aquarium didn't pan out this afternoon, so enjoyed ourselves in the front yard! Claire and I ran/biked along the creek (my first high impact run post-Jude!). The boys hung out in the front yard with Daddy boom baddy. The crockpot did all my cooking for me, so we were able to come in and enjoy a nice corn beef and cabbage dinner.

My Reese-er

What a morning! If it is not the kids, it's the pups. My sweet Reese started suddenly walking in counterclockwise circles and pinning his head to the left. He became very lethargic and had great difficulty moving. He had done something similar a few weeks ago but it quickly resolved. This episode landed us at the vet where he was diagnosed with vestibular disease. I was hoping for a silly curable ear infection, but this one stems from the central nervous system. No cause. No treatment. Just waiting for these episodes to pass. Keeping my big boy comfortable is priority and key. Carly knows something is not quite right. I caught her hanging out with him this evening.

It's not a fatal situation but I am pretty bummed and sad for my big brown boy ...

Creek time!

Another fun afternoon at the Spring Creek Preserve with the family. We got to introduce Sean and Lisa to the art of throwing rocks; needless to say, they picked it up quickly and enjoyed it. ;)
