Easter 2014

Happy Easter, y'all! Morning came early. The Easter bunny delivered baskets for all and after a hearty breakfast of eggs and bacon, we headed to church. Thank goodness I'm familiar with the Easter holiday and message because my attention was concentrated on 3 spirited Morrison males in the pew while Scott sang and praised God's glory with the choir and his trombone. Picked up a picnic lunch at Sonic and had a nice family lunch at our Sunday hangout. Even managed some cute kids pics before the grass stains set in.

Claire Elizabeth

Playing at a park yesterday afternoon, Claire took a 5 ft fall from a tree, landing on her side and head. I was pushing Jude in a swing, and raced over when I saw my big girl go down. We made it home with the help of our dear friend, Koebe, since we had walked to the park. I let Claire rest on the couch while I got dinner ready keeping a close eye on her. Right at dinner, she started throwing up, which was my red glad signal to get her to the hospital. Scott kept the home fires burning with the boys while I raced Claire to the children's ER. We were seen promptly and Claire had a ct scan done. We were lucky-- no fractures, no bleeds, no concussion. Just one really bruised girl. 

The vomiting after a head injury to me always meant concussion, but the dr said, not always. It is common with head injuries to have the vomiting and lethagary, but it doesn't = concussion. 

Claire is home from school today. Her head is still hurting and her neck is sore. My poor girl.

Couldn't get in to see my hair stylist, so we trekked over to mr mccutters-- Jude's first professional haircut. 

I need a distraction right now

So I am going to ignore the outside world and focus on posting pictures.

This morning I packed three lunches. Claire-- normal kindergarten routine. Ash and Ave-- Literacy Lunch. It'll be great to have all three together again the same school. I think they've missed each other.
