Western kingbirds
I've been watching this nest of western kingbirds in the Target parking lot. At one point there were about 5 birds crammed into the nest. Today we saw them out and about, even mama doing a feeding.

Not reassembling the bunk beds for sure!
For the first two weeks, the boys enjoyed sleeping on the top bunk. Now it is WW3 and we, the parents, lose out.

Diamond Divas' Last Game
With Uncle Casey cheering her on this week (and Mima last week), Claire played in her last coach-pitch softball game with her YMCA team, The Diamond Divas! She got hits both times up to bat, played catcher, and second base. It was a fun season and a great experience. The weather was great for this month of play-- not too terribly hot! We are so proud of Claire-bear for going out there and trying something new!

Oh where did the time go? Cliche, cliche! She has had a wonderful year in kindergarten but is looking fwd to a summer off from school.One difference is my sweet girl insisted on doing her own hair. And the sun was in her eyes. :)

And we have another graduate!
Kindergarten graduation was this afternoon with tomorrow being the last day of school. What a fun year it has been! Claire has grown so much academically and socially! She is a proficient reader, adds and subtracts, can even do some multiplications, and is a very creative writer. She has many friends and was always so eager to go to school each morning. On to 1st grade, my beautiful girl!
