Mia Goes for a Ride!

This one is for you, AB! ; )

B/c of the intense heat we've been having, Claire has decided to walk her Mia inside the house in the stroller.

At least I don't have to worry about cars or strangers...

Master Bath Renovation

Before... ... After

The shower is almost done! Woohoo! From the studs, which is not pictured, and back, including a new shower pan (many thanks, Bopa!), the tile has been laid and grouted. The floor was also completed (grouting done by 1:45 am by Dado!), and all the old stuff removed. Unfortunately, my jacuzzi tub is the work bench these days...

Before... ... After

Yes, that is the sink, suspended by a few ropes so at least we will have water as we wait for the new cabinets to come in. Here's the age old question-- which comes first: the cabinets or the twins? : )

All credit must go to Scott, Charlie, and Casey for all of their blood (not too much), sweat, and tears (OK, maybe just from pregnant- hormonal- lady- me). They have been working on this puppy for quite a few months now...

Sisterly Love

Claire and Carly have made peace with one another. They have found a common love-- hiding in Dado's closet amongst the clothes... just don't close the door!

Giddy Up!

I guess that's what happens when you have a Texas baby... she turns into a cowgirl and rides whatever she has access to-- a dog, a wooden horse...

All better!

Kids bounce back so quickly I am learning... 5 days later, Claire's cut has pretty much healed. She got the stitches out this morning (hence the Pebbles hairstyle) and told everyone at the doctor's office, "This, this" and gestured to her forehead.

Ouch!

What a trooper! Look at this smile! Who would've guess that 12 hours earlier this little turkey was getting stitched up in the ER? Claire took a fall yesterday at the park and smacked right into a pole. Unfortunately, her little forehead split open from the impact. Off we went to Dallas' pediatric ER-- where we sat and sat for a total of 3 hours. Her spirits have been great and she doesn't seem bothered by any pain.
